JHOD is proud to support the Tribute to Life Project launched by NHS Blood & Transplant yesterday during the Commonwealth Day launch celebrations.
This project presents a unique opportunity to highlight the ongoing need to increase levels of organ and tissue donation and transplantation globally, and brings together the Commonwealth nations, sharing expertise within organ donation and transplantation, to ultimately save more lives.
The event was live-streamed at 11 am GMT and with inspiring real-life stories of people whose lives have been changed by organ donors, together with speakers across the Commonwealth, highlighting the challenges they face within their organ donation system and the many opportunities this project will bring.
