Three years on from the law change in England, JHOD calls on the community to make a ‘definite organ donation decision’ and tell their families about their wishes.

This follows findings of research commissioned by the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, which shows there is little or no evidence that the 2019 Act has contributed to increasing consent rates and is likely to have made matters more complex and confusing for staff and families of the deceased wishing to donate.”

JHOD has a clear Vision:  ‘No one dies waiting for a transplant in the UK’ and calls on the Jain and Hindu community for support in ensuring we do this sewa as a community and address the challenges posed.
