An Organ Donation Summit held at City Hall in London marked an important milestone in the efforts to increase organ donation rates and save more lives.
The Summit was organised by Jain and Hindu Organ Donation Alliance (JHOD), The National Black, Asian, Mixed Race, and Minority, Ethnic (BAME) Transplant Alliance (NBTA) and National Kidney Federation (NKF) and hosted by London Assembly Member, Krupesh Hirani.
The gathering provided an opportunity for people to come together and reflect on the impact of the law change, and has resulted in six recommendations to further improve and raise further awareness about the importance of organ donation.
